The Housing Authority, also known as HAIC, has been proudly serving Indiana County for nearly 45 years by offering quality, affordable housing in a safe, secure environment for area seniors, disabled, physically or mentally challenged individuals, and low-to-moderate income families. Our agency owns, operates, or administers rental assistance for over 1,000 units throughout Indiana County. HAIC goes beyond bricks and mortar. Our friendly staff prides itself on the management and maintenance of our housing stock, as well as our top notch customer service. Our mission at the Housing Authority of Indiana County is to help improve the quality of life; to provide a safe, sanitary home and a suitable living environment that is affordable to elderly persons, families and those with special needs consistent with Local, State and Federal statutes.
